This course is for the Motorcycle, Scooter or ATV enthusiast who wants to get a better understanding of the operation of a motorcycle. You will learn how to repair and diagnose faults in motorcycle engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering and electrical systems and components and how to perform a basic service on a motorcycle, scooter or ATV.​​

Short Course Content

  • General care and cleaning of your motorcycle
  • Pre-ride daily safety checks
  • Periodic maintenance including tyres (pressure, wear etc.), chain adjustment, lubrication, oil and other fluid checks
  • Electrical, brake pads, levers and cable care
  • Basic repair and diagnostic procedures​

Pre-requisite
There is no pre-requisite for this course

Participants in this course are required to provide and wear safety clothing and footwear (such as long sleeve shirt and pants, preferably overalls) and full cover closed shoe (preferably work boots or shoes).​​
