Instalment payment

​​​Students wishing to pay by instalment must enter into a legally binding contract with South Metropolitan TAFE to pay their fees in full by the agreed dates. 

Fortnightly instalment payments will be collected by direct debit from a bank account or credit card only. Your instalments will be defaulted to eight (8) fortnightly instalments if you are enrolled for a semester's enrolment. 

To set up an instalment plan you are required to bring your bank account or credit card details (BSB, account number, your name, bank name and branch) at the time of enrolment. You will be required to pay at least $100 of your course cost as a deposit (you can pay more if you wish). Paying a larger deposit will decrease your fortnightly payments over the semester.

Failure to comply with the agreed terms of payment will result in the debt being referred to a Debt Collector.


Previous debts

If you have a debt from previous enrolments at South Metropolitan TAFE you will not be able to enrol until you have paid that debt off in full.​
